- Train professionals to work in non-academic spheres in the region and / or in the country, linked to the government and / or private sectors, contributing to technological and social development.
It is expected that the trained professional is able to develop research and produce knowledge about the intra and intersubjective processes of human formation; work in Higher Education, research institutes and technical-scientific advisory services, establishing exchanges and partnerships with other public and private institutions; act in Basic Education, as a teacher or professional who contributes to reflection and intervention, addressing issues inherent to this level of education; understand the historical and cultural constitution of subjects and spaces in the Mesoregion, in a systemic approach, as well as the influence of such aspects on human formation; contribute to the diagnosis, elaboration and monitoring of public policies aimed at overcoming socioeconomic inequalities, taking into account the cultural differences of individuals, groups and institutions; propose and monitor management projects aimed at socioeconomic development at different levels of activity.
